RIDING AT CONQUEST CENTRE:

We offer riding for disabled and able-bodied clients.  RDA stipulates that disabled riders must not have:

bulletUncontrolled epilepsy
bulletArthritis in the acute phase (including juvenile arthritis)
bulletMultiple Sclerosis in the acute phase
bulletUnhealed pressure sores
bulletBrittle Bone Disease
bulletSevere Kyphosis or Scoliosis
bulletHaemophilia
bulletRiders must have standing balance

Conquest Centre stipulates that all riders, both disabled and able-bodied, be 12 stone or under.

Disabled Riding - RDA Group Sessions

If you would like to ride under RDA, providing you don't have any of the conditions above, you can download the medical consent form here and fill it in.  You must get the form signed by your doctor, and by yourself or your guardian.  Please then send the form back to us and we will assess it and contact you to arrange a free assessment ride.

RDA sessions cost £9 each.

Disabled Riding - Private Sessions

Occasionally we offer private sessions for disabled clients.  This usually takes place during the holidays.  For a list of dates when these are available, please check here.

Able-Bodied Riding

We offer riding lessons for able-bodied children and adults.  We start from 4 years of age, and have a 12 stone weight limit.  Group lessons are available after school on Tuesdays and Fridays and on Saturdays and Sundays.  We offer private lessons Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Able-bodied group riding lessons cost £13.00 for the 30 min lessons, or £17.00 for the 45 min lessons.

Able-bodied private lessons are £26 for 30 mins.
