At Conquest Centre, we provide a wide range of therapeutic, experiential and wellbeing services for children, young people, adults and families.
Using a unique combination of animals, nature, therapeutic interventions and trauma informed mentoring, we offer personalised approaches of support that help individuals build confidence, develop new skills, improve emotional wellbeing and achieve meaningful personal goals.
No two journeys are the same. Every person who accesses our services is supported as an individual, with sessions tailored to their interests, strengths and needs.

At Conquest Centre, we support people in a way that is right for them. We carefully match clients with a mentor who will draw on the resources available from our therapy animals, arts and crafts, sport and nature and other activities to offer something suitable for each individual.
Everything we offer is there to help clients feel safe, build confidence and develop life skills. Everyone is different, so support is always shaped around the individual
Sessions are offered weekly by the half hour or hour and some people come for several hours in a day or week up to a maximum of 3 days (12 hours). The length of your sessions and how often you attend may depend on how much funding you have access to and what you agree at the introductory meeting.
We ask that everyone commit to a minimum of 10 weeks. Arranging an introductory meeting with a member of staff is the first step in booking time.
These services can be accessed individually or combined to create a personalised approach to support. Rather than being a ‘pick and mix’ list, our specialist mentors work with each individual to understand what might be most helpful on the day. This flexible approach means that every session can be adapted to suit their needs, interests and confidence, allowing support to develop naturally over time.

We recognise that every person is unique. Rather than offering a standard programme, we co-create support with individuals, families and professionals that reflects each person’s strengths, interests and aspirations.
Trauma-informed practice underpins all aspects of service delivery at Conquest Centre. Our team understands the impact that adverse experiences, anxiety, stress and emotional challenges can have on an individual's ability to engage, learn and thrive.
We prioritise emotional safety, trust, choice, collaboration and positive relationships, creating supportive environments where individuals can develop confidence, resilience and wellbeing at their own pace.
Where appropriate, support extends beyond the individual to include families and carers, recognising the importance of a holistic approach to wellbeing.
