A charity that welcomes the community,
embraces the family and engages with nature.

You don’t have to buy something to come in and sit down! It’s still a warm, friendly place for all our visitors to sit.

A Place of Our Own

Thanks to our lovely sponsors at Beehive Self Storage, we now have our very own Café onsite at Conquest Centre. It is situated inside the arena, with large windows looking out on to the school, so that café visitors can watch lessons taking place whilst enjoying refreshments.

Beehive Café is non-profit making, with all proceeds going back into the Conquest Centre charity.

a place for everyone

We are proud to say that the Beehive Café is also a training facility, offering volunteers with all abilities the opportunity to learn transferrable life skills in a supportive environment.  It is currently staffed by My Day Care Services, Selworthy School and Bridgwater and Taunton College.

We are always seeking volunteers to help run the café, so whether you can spare a few hours a week to wash pots, or whether you can teach our trainees to whip up a three course meal, we’d love to hear from you!

If you, or a group you know would like to help, please email us on info@conquestcentre.org.uk.

come for a visit

We offer hot and cold drinks, light snacks, cakes and hot food. Our menu changes according to what is fresh and in season, but basics such as bacon sandwiches and jacket potatoes are always on the menu!  Check out our Facebook page regularly for specials.

The Beehive Café is open to the general public, not just Conquest Centre service users. Why not visit the horses, donkeys, goats and chickens, or use the play park or sensory room whilst you’re here?

The Beehive Café is open from 10am until 2pm, Tuesday to Friday term-time only.

Hope to see you soon!
